Does this sound familiar?

It is not a lack of effort.
Your practice needs to prepare you to respond.

You know it, but cannot answer

The sentence seems clear in your head, yet the conversation moves on before you can put it together.

You studied rules, not situations

You learnt vocabulary but rarely practised what to say when somebody actually answers.

Fear takes over

In a group, fear of making a mistake can make silence feel safer.

Real English sounds different

Contractions, rhythm and quick replies can confuse learners who have only heard slow, isolated sentences.

CENA Method

You do not learn an isolated sentence.
You learn how to join the conversation.

Each lesson begins with a realistic situation and takes you from understanding to responding, without making grammar the centre of the experience.

Experience to teach. Careful listening to adapt.

My work begins by listening carefully: understanding where conversation becomes difficult and what you need to be able to do in English.

I created these lessons for adults who need more than explanations disconnected from real life. British English appears through its rhythm, vocabulary choices and the small responses that keep conversations going. American English is not treated as wrong; you learn to recognise relevant differences.
